 Welcome!

An I.D.E.A.S., Inc project at Ohio Eastern Star. An example of innovation in dementia care and design.

Welcome to I.D.E.A.S., Inc. We are a research and consulting group that helps long term care providers-nursing homes, assisted living, retirement communities, home health agencies, the staff who work, and residents who live in these settings-create more resident-centered, resident-directed settings. Whether you're considering new construction, major renovation, or modest changes on a limited budget, call us (440-256-1880) to discuss how our services can meet your needs. All of our staff are Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS) as designated by the National Association of Home Builders.

We are pleased to announce that I.D.E.A.S., Inc. has received funding from the National Institute of Deafness and Communication Disorders to develop and test a resource that will help you to better serve your clients with dementia.  The Communication Toolkit will give you the tools you need to assess the long term care environment and then plan effective environmental interventions to help your clients reach their goals.  Please consider joining our team of expert SLPs, OTs, PTs, and Nurses who are participating in this project.
