What personal information do we collect on our Site?
We gather four types of information on the Site: (1) personal
information you provide when you register to take the course,
(2) tracking information collected as you navigate through
the Site, (3) credit card information you use to pay for the
course and (4) post-test data assessing knowledge gained after
taking the course.
Optional personal information for registration purposes.
To use certain features on the Site, we ask you to register.
When you do this, we collect basic information about you such
as your email address, profession, state and whether you are
in a position to make purchases. Personal data collected by
NOW HEAR THIS may be used by NOW HEAR THIS for a statistical
analysis of users' behavior, for product development, for
content and functionality improvement, or to customize the
content and layout of the Site.
Aggregate tracking information.
When you use the Site, we may collect tracking information
such as how long you use the Site or what pages you have searched.
None of this information identifies you personally; we collect
it for aggregate reporting on Site activity. For example,

Post-test data assessing knowledge gained after
taking the course.
After taking the course, you will be required to take a short
post-test. This data is used for purposes related to awarding
CEU credits. Depending on the organization providing the CEUs,
these results may be shared with the CEU providers, in order
to process your CEUs. They will not be shared with other organizations,
or used in other ways. Aggregate (non-personally identifiable)
data may be used in publications about this course.
Use of cookies.
The Site does not use persistent cookies that are stored on
your computer. However, the use of session-based cookies enable
you to personalize the Site to your needs and interests when
revisiting our Web site. These cookies do not track individual
information and are not stored on your computer.

The Site provides links to other sites, and advertisements
for or placed by third parties. Please be aware that we are
not responsible for the privacy practices (or other practices,
